250 Years Supply of Coal and Clean Coal Technologies; What Does it all Mean?
For those who are concerned with Global Warming and say that the United States must cut down on its energy usage perhaps they need to do a bit of research with regards to the supply of coal in the United States and the newly developed clean coal technologies out there now available. 250 Years Supply of Coal and Clean Coal Technologies; What does it all mean for America?
Well it means we can still burn coal and we have a nearly unlimited supply as we develop new technologies in the future and we can burn it without over polluting the atmosphere of the planet and therefore there is no reason to be overly alarmed about the US emissions coming from our power plants. We simply switch to clean coal burning technologies and add these features to the current power plants that we already have.
Will this cost a lot of money to retrofit? Yes, but if you believe in Global Warming then that is a small over all price to pay really and the sooner we do it the better for all concerned. Additionally maybe we should be exporting this technology to the rest of the world and sell them some coal too or sell them some energy if they border our country. Please consider all this in 2006.
